My name is Nicole Xike Nie (“Xike 喜柯” is my legal first name, and “Nicole” is my aka). I am an assistant professor at MIT. I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 2019, with a focus in isotope geochemistry and cosmochemistry. I am interested in studying early solar system evolution, planetary differentiation, Moon formation, terrestrial and planetary surface processes, stable isotope fractionation mechanisms, and clean lab and MC-ICPMS techniques.
